JET Tariff - API (Application Programming Interface)

JET Tariff caters for the needs of specialist developers in the shipping industry, who have a need to access accurate and up-to-date Customs information and who want to be shielded from the complexities of updating the tariff on a weekly basis, as well as Customs duty and other complex calculations, when programming for imports.

To aid such developers, JET Tariff has an Application Programming Interface (API) that provides access to all JET Tariff information, as well as returning calculated duties and VAT, to the third party application.

The JET Tariff API provides access to the JET Tariff databases and calculation routines, either via XML over sockets, or XML via COM, at the developer's option. Calls to the JET Tariff API can be mixed, i.e., XML via sockets and/or COM, if needed.
