JET Imports
A JET Logistics Solutions license enables you to produce all the usual permutations of the forms required for imports, for presentation to SARS: Customs.
JET Imports has several unique features:
- The ability to re-print entries, at any time, even days, after capture;
- Multiple supplier invoices, plus multiple discounts per invoice are dealt with. The worksheet groups each invoice together for easier checking;
- A comprehensive library of commodities can be built, easing the burden of the capture clerk, who does NOT necessarily have to be an entry clerk. Entry clerks are far too valuable, to be sitting in front of a screen tapping in entry information. This function can easily and less expensively, be handled by a trained capture clerk;
- Adding importers and suppliers on the fly, without having to close the file;
- Dual VDN percentages, both positive and negative, are dealt with;
- An on-screen display of all the total duties and VAT due by the importer, prior to the entry being printed and batched. A very good option for dealing with dicey debtors;
- Automatically deals with "repair and return" as well as "intellectual value" shipments;
- Permits the entry of notations in respect of FOB (dutiable) charges, which are printed on the Customs worksheet. This makes the checking officers job easier and consequently resulting in fewer rejections;
